Human Impacts:

Land Pollution- Destruction of the Earth's land surfaces, orften directly or indirectly as a result of mans activities and their misuse of land resources.

  • people can be exposed to toxins waste and chemicals

    • lung problems

    • harsh carcinogens

    • various types of cancer

Water Pollution- the process where any body of water is contminated by harsh substances.

  • hurts marine animals affecting the food chain

  • marine animals consuming toxins, then humans consuming the toxic animal

  • water acidity, and impure

    • toxic runoff, pesticides and herbicides are killing water life, and humans

    • more diseases throughout the human population

    • orgainfailures are increasing in number

    • generations are effected

Air Pollution- introduction of substances into the atmospher that has harmful/ poisonus effects

  • global warming

  • aerosol sprays

  • acidic rain

  • smog

    • respiratory diseases

    • acidic rain goes from animals then consumed by humans

    • lung cancer

Invasive Species- an alien species that is non- native that can casue economic or environmental harms or harm on human health

  • compete with native species for food

  • prey on native species

  • can cause or carry diseases

  • causes a decrease in biodiversity

  • after ecosystem conditions

    • carry diseases

    • climate changes brings them in increasingly and decreasingly plants in certain weather types

    • cost nations a lot of money

Habitat Destruction- the process in which the enviornoment cannot obtain natural processes.

  • reduction of biodiversity

  • population decrease

  • risk of extinction

  • climate regulation

  • pest and disease control

  • ecosystmes are more vulnerable to invasive species

    • loss of resources

    • animal poulation decreases

    • eventually no land to grow

    • agriculture

    • climate chnage

    • extreme weather

Deforestation- occurs for main reasons of trees being cut down to be used for other reasons.

  • loss of habitat

    • more jobs in lumber industry

    • future growth and lumber products

    • habitat loss

    • loss of home for humans

    • climate change

Global Warming- an increase in temperature that is caused by harmful polutants

  • ice an polar regions are melting effecting the sea levels

  • preceptation and temperature increased

  • migrating north animlas that depend on cold weather

    • carcingens

    • infections to immune system

    • respiratory systems
